Michigan Works! Region 7B Consortium Modifies Service Delivery in Response to COVID-19 Concerns

(Michigan Works! Region 7B) — Effective Wednesday, March 18, Michigan Works! Region 7B will modify service delivery in its service centers in Arenac, Clare, Gladwin, Iosco, Ogemaw and Roscommon counties in response to COVID-19 concerns.

Job seeker services will be available by appointment only. Those who need to drop off paperwork or other materials can do so through the use of the new drop box system at each location. To make an appointment or to speak with staff, call:

At this time all workshops, job fairs, career assistance orientations and other group activities are suspended until further notice. However, in the near future, most workshops will be available online at

In addition, business service team representatives will continue to service area employers via email or by appointment.

Region 7B Consortium. “We are monitoring the situation, updating our approach to service delivery, and cooperating with CDC, state and local health departments.”
